Freda Herrera

English teacher with a creative outlet

I grew up in L.A. I attended North Torrance High School (go SAXONS!) and graduated in '92.

From '92 to '97 I attended San Diego State University (go AZTECS!) In '97 I graduated from SDSU with a B.A. in English.

From '97 to '00 I attended the University of San Diego School of Law (go TOREROS...is that right?) I graduated in '00 with a J.D. That summer I passed the CA Bar Exam.

I practiced law for five LOOOONNNGGGG years! It wasn't for me.

So...what do I do???? Go back to school of course! I received my CA Teaching Credential in English! I love being in the classroom and can see myself happily teaching for the next 25 years!

I have been just as fortunate in my personal life. I have been married since July '99 to Desi. We have two boys, Logan (born '03) and Liam (born '05). I love them to pieces!
